staticred is the professional home of Darren James Harkness, a web strategist. I'm currently working with Athabasca University's Centre for Research as a web developer and project manager, where I manage development of the e-lab at Athabasca University, an interdisciplinary initiative to provide innovative new learning services and resources to its students and staff.

I can provide many services, including PHP Development, HTML & CSS, Content Management Systems, Project coordination, IT Consultation, research, and design services for small and medium-sized organizations. I have the good fortune of being able to be selective of the contracts I would like to work on, and prefer to work with non-profit, academic, and community service providers.

I have a solid record working in startup, and enterprise, and academic environments, working within a wide range of budgets and scope.
